4 Places to See Santa this Year

It’s that time of year when our social media feeds fill up with pictures of everyone’s kids with Santa. Now my personal favorite photos are always the ones that have an absolutely terrified child in a complete panic at the fact that their parent has just left them on the lap of a stranger and walked away! I feel this version of the picture accurately shows how a parent feels about standing in endless lines with all of creation at the mall to get this precious photo.

So to help all of you out we have put together a list of the best places and events in the area to get some quality facetime with the Big Guy while actually enjoying yourself! They are only this little once so take in every moment of it.

Santa is taking time out of his busy schedule to attend the 18th Annual DAR Christmas Open House. The elves will be handing out coloring books and crayons to children on Santa's "Good" list. Families can enjoy refreshments, cookies and Christmas music and caroling led by local choirs. You are encouraged to bring new and lightly used children's books to donate to those less fortunate in our community. You can also win DAR door prizes! You can also visit the National Christmas tree across the street at the Ellipse. Learn More
